Reopening Schools

As we look forward to the coming school year, SEA intends to negotiate all bargainable subjects of reopening schools. Our first step will be to negotiate a memorandum of agreement (MOA) around working conditions and other matters related to Comprehensive Distance Learning. That accomplished, we will begin work on a second MOA addressing conditions of a return to in-person, hybrid instruction.

SEA submitted an opening proposal for Comprehensive Distance Learning on August 16. Stay tuned for information about next steps. You can read our opening proposal by clicking the link at right.

Our members will be represented by the SEA Executive Team during these negotiations.
